Elders
Elder qualifications
1Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9 and 1 peter 5:1-2.
These verses speak about the qualities of elders "blameless, husband of one wife, not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain, rather an elder must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined. An elder must hold on firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it."
In short, the job (calling) of an elder team is to be those who are older in life, in
emotional and spiritual experience -not novices- who have the calling and gifting to see the mission to which the church is called. Elders are to stand before and among the flock as those who example the Christ-likeness with which the mission is to be accomplished. Elders do not presume to have authority over anybody (Jesus is Lord). Elders rather insist that we are on the right road, operating by biblical principles, while protecting the flock from all kinds of "wolves". Above all, it is who we are as men of God that is important. Our lives (examples) are to impress upon the whole body the mature and Godly manner by which we follow Jesus for the rest of our lives. If elders do the job well, the people will see where to go, how to get there, know who to call in times of crisis, and know that they are not being ruled, but are being cared for.

Deacons
At the “Church Of The Vine” , A Deacon is a servant. A Deacon (Man or Woman) is a steward over all the temporal resources of the Church.
Deacons are the temporal complement of The Elder’s spiritual oversight, Together both groups minister to the total needs of the body (Temporal & Spiritual). A few scripture verses encompass Deacon qualifications and guidelines.
Acts 6:23,
“Good repute, full of The Spirit and wisdom…”, And 1 Timothy 3:8-12, “Dignified,
blameless...managing their household well…”
