RIO DE VIDA IN SURPRISE
Rio De Vida is our very own church plant, right here in the original square mile of Surprise. Pat and Shirley Brandlin lead the Spanish-speaking congregation which started in May of 2006. They first went to the men on the streets and from there to the families. They are now meeting on Sunday Morning which is an answer to prayer. At this time there are about 50 people involved. The mission is to establish an up-and-running church to meet the needs of the Hispanic community. When asked what God's purpose is in this outreach, Pat responds: "To see Jesus, who became completely undignified on the cross, dignify people through salvation and relationship with the Father."
Please pray that this fellowship effectively reaches out to the neighborhood and continues to grow. Pray that this fellowship is able to become self sustaining as it grows in discipleship.
